Subsea Polyurethane Bend Restrictor Solution
The bend restrictor is made of polyurethane material, which is mainly used for protection in the case of excessive bending of the subsea cable during the construction stage or under special working conditions. On offshore oil platforms and offshore wind power, the bending limiter and the J-tube lower port are used together with the J-tube sealing device or the J-tube centralizer to effectively prevent excessive bending of the subsea cable. Due to the low density characteristics of the polyurethane material , bend restrictor will not cause large loads to the subsea cable.

Characteristic
- The Harverd-type modular unit structure is adopted to form a chain shape through interlocking.The locking bending radius is designed to be greater than the minimum safe working radius of the submarine cable to limit the bending of the submarine cable and ensure safe working.
- Deploying special MDI polyurethane material with strong deformation resistance and high mechanical properties;
- The material density is less than 1.17g/cm3, which is close to the density of seawater, there is almost no additional load on the submarine cable under water.
- The fasteners are made of super duplex stainless steel with excellent corrosion resistance in the marine environment, guaranteeing a service life of not less than 25 years.
