Drive Wheel for a stacker crane constructed of Vulkollan® elastomers.
The ideal material for stacker crane wheels is one of our Vulkollan® elastomers since it combines good mechanical and dynamic load-bearing performance with heat build-up resistance and low maintenance.
With high tensile strength and low compression, as well as minimal heat buildup during acceleration and deceleration, the Vulkollan® stacker crane wheels that RDER-VOGEL created for WITRON are designed for continuous operation at peak demand. They also offer good resistance to oils and greases.
Desmodur® 15, glycols, and Vulkollan® polyols undergo chemical reactions to create solid Vulkollan®. It spans a range of roughly 65 Shore A to 60 Shore D hardness.
Vulkollan® elastomer wheels acquire high wear resistance even under demanding warehouse operation circumstances, and they provide longer wheel maintenance intervals than competing technologies.
